Fires when an existing shipment's details are modified.
Triggers
Any update to shipment information, including:
- Stop edits — address, contact, dates, add / remove / reorder
- Commodity edits — inline commodity changes, hazmat details
- Reference number changes — shipment-level or customer-reference edits
- Carrier / transit-leg changes — carrier assignment, tariff, PRO, spot quotes
- Customer changes — bill-to customer swap
- Accessorial changes — add or remove accessorials
- EDI 214 updates and Public API tracking updates that carry non-status changes
Delivery
Batched with a ~1-minute delay after the triggering event.
Notes
- Fires alongside
ShipmentStatusUpdateUrlon every status change. If you subscribe to both, expect paired deliveries on status transitions. - If
ShipmentCreateUrlis not configured, this webhook also fires on shipment creation.
